Bruits de Tambours
Youth and Women: For Democratic and Equal Governance!
Bruits de Tambours is a social communication initiative that draws from lessons learnt and best practices in Communication for Development and Education through entertainment for social change, in a bid to promote participatory and inclusive democracy, notably for women and youths. It focuses on SDG16 for the advent of peaceful and inclusive societies. Additionally, it seeks to promote participatory and inclusive democracy by strengthening the citizen participation of women and youths and by encouraging debate about ideas as well as discussions about individual behaviour and social norms that can drive or impede the involvement of women and youths in the decision-making processes and governance of their respective communities. WARA and Dianké are the main outcomes under this project.
