Sansas
Fiction to Mobilize Teenagers and Youths!
SANSAS is a project designed to provide adolescents and youths in Senegal with improved access to reproductive health services. This initiative is funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) with a budget of 8 million Euros over a 4-year period. It is jointly implemented by Solthis (the project lead), Enda Santé, Equipop, RAES, and Lartes. SANSAS takes a comprehensive approach, addressing both the supply and demand for services, with a particular focus on the regions of Sédhiou and Mbour.
The project’s overarching goal is to amplify the impact of educational activities within and outside schools, as well as through local and national social and political mobilization efforts. SANSAS prioritizes capacity building and empowering stakeholders such as young women, young men, and vulnerable youths. Their active participation is encouraged at all stages of the project.
