As a result, RAES designs and/or utilizes innovative strategies to promote behaviour change in Africa and act as a hub for connecting partners and international programs, media and local civil societies.RAES trains, supports and assists local actors and communities to have access to information and to provide solutions adapted to their problems.

Responsibilities

THE POSITION

The role of the position is to ensure the conception and the implementation of the marketing digital strategy and communication of Pamoja Project. The post holder will play a key rôle in the technical support of the sub-beneficiaries of the project and in the mobilisation of the communities as part of communication campaigns. The person recruited must ideally have a passion for gender equality and women access to sexual and reproductive health services or simply 'pro-choice'.

FUNCTIONS AND TASKS

  • Develop an appropriate communication strategy for the project and translate it into a yearly operational plan; 
  • Develop  a strategy and a marketing plan for the promotion of each type of content in order to raise accessibility and visibility  ;  
  • Prepare a communication kit for the project,intended to the donors and to the implementation partners ; 
  • Optimize the on line-presence of the program and its contents thanks to SEO or SEM techniques to raise traffic or engagement. Good knowledge of digital media purchase is required. 
  • Design the project content database and update it regularily ;  
  • Prepare the supports or promotional material of these contents or negociate their broadcasting ; 
  • Prepare a File, regularily updated, to share RAES actions with the members of the consortium ;  
  • Produce materials and communication support necessary to the project. 

TRAINING AND SUPPORT THE PROJECT PARTNERS

  • Prepare a training and support plan for the sub beneficiaries or Consortium partners  with a 360° Communication;  
  • Prepare training modules to the 360° Communication and make them validated by the project team; 
  • Carry out the necessary training to the sub beneficiaries and to the consortium partners;  
  • Carry out a support to the project managers in the management of the aspects linked to communication. 
  • Contribute to supervison of the creation and management of engaging and pertinent contents on the campaigns;  
  • Plan, execute and analyse  paid  advertisements campaigns on various platforms , (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).

REPORTING AND PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

  • Manager :  Pamoja Project coordinator  
  • Internal functional relationship: project manager of each country of the project, project assistant, Communication manager of the NGO, RAES Monitoring, evaluation and learning manager, graphic designer  
  • External functional relationships: Consultant production, Partners for assessment and capitalisation.
Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE

  • Good Knowledge of marketing and communication certified by a High scholl+5 Diploma in communication, social or legal sciences ; 
  • Good Strategical analysis capacities ; 
  • Good knowledge of planification tools and tracking projects tools 

 EXPERIENCE

  • 7 years of experience in digital marketing or communication  
  • 2 years of experience in the NGO or non profit  sector

TECHNICAL COMPETENCES

  • Mastery of Digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, social media management tools , CMS, etc.). 
  • Ability to create Innovative contents and develop engaging and effective campaigns  
  • Ability to produce training materials   
  • Ability to train

Job Benefits
  • One year local employment contract under senegalese law with 3 month trial  
  • Monthly gross salary : 2 300 000 FCFA  
  • Duration :  September 2024 to August 2025 
  • Place : Position based on Dakar, plan regular trips  
  • Health insurance up to 90%  
  • Monthly Telephone credit up to 30.000 FCFA
