RAES is a senegalese NGO, created in 2004 dedicating to working with communities across Africa to adress significant social challenges. As a result, RAES designs and/or utilizes innovative strategies to promote behaviour change in Africa and act as a hub for connecting partners and international programs, media and local civil societies.RAES trains, supports and assists local actors and communities to have access to information and to provide solutions adapted to their problems.

THE ROLE
The role of the position is key to give technical support to Pamoja Project team and to manage administrative and logistical activities. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring a qualitative management of data, trips, meetings, workshops and reporting of the reporting. The person recruited must ideally have a passion for gender equality and women access to sexual and reproductive health services or simply 'pro-choice'.
FUNCTIONS AND TASKS
- Support activity planning work in collaboration with the project coordinator;
- Identify and plan project missions, training courses and meetings on the "Monday.com" planning and monitoring platform, and ensure that the logistical aspects of these activities are properly handled by the dedicated departments;
- Support the project coordinator in the production of minutes and reports of meetings and activities;
- Support the drafting of terms of reference and purchase requisitions, and ensure that they are shared with the internal collaborators in charge;
- Ensure the organization of the project's sharepoint and the proper archiving of project documents;
- Provide translation of documents;
- Support the coordinator and PMs in reporting phases;
- Support PMs in organizing workshops and trips.
- Provide general technical and administrative support to the project coordinator and all project managers as needed
Main organizational relationships
- Manager: Pamoja Project coordinator
- Internal functional relationship: Executive director, project manager of each country of the project, Digital and marketing Communication manager, Monitoring and evaluation officer, graphic designer
- External functional relationship: Production Consultant, SBC consultant, Oasis staff, Director of fictions, Evaluation partners, local producers, local CSO, Partners for learnings and evaluation, trainers.
KNOWLEDGE
- 5 years' higher education in project management
- Good knowledge of communication for change and community-based approaches
- Very good knowledge of the West African environment
- Good command of the subject of DSSR and gender
- Good knowledge of the coordination and consultation frameworks or health policies of the countries of intervention.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years' experience in project management
- At least 3 years' practical experience in one or more of the program's themes.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCES
- Good command of communication approaches and the formulation of strategies and campaigns
- Critical, analytical and synthetic mind
- Ability to produce reports, factsheets and abstracts
- Ability to translate field needs into project activities
- Ability to define and argue the choice of strategies and priorities
- Mastery of program/project logical frameworks
- Rigorous organization in the preparation, implementation and monitoring of pre-defined work processes
- Ability to respect procedures and deadlines ;
- Ability to monitor and keep abreast of developments in the thematic sector
- Ability to manage budgets and resource
- Excellent oral expression in French and English
- Good writing skills in French and English
- Experience of working in the field with local players in Africa;
- Full command of the Office pack and Microsoft 360°.
